Ok, I’m hooked up to wi-fi, how can I and where can I download free apps for my iphone? (Its a 8MB, 3G version)

Plus this wont run into my data package plan if I’m hooked up to wi-fi correct?

If you’re using wifi, it doesn’t affect your data plan.

To download apps, you first have to set up an account on iTunes. Once that’s done, just tap the App Store icon on your phone and download away. You can also download apps to your iTunes account and then sync your phone with iTunes.
